Cédric Wachthausen - Vannes
ETPA graduate, Cédric Wachthausen learned about photography by travelling with his eyes wide open. He keeps a record of what he sees by using different cameras depending on what he wants to photograph. In 2015, with 9 photographers, he created In Visu, an association based in Morbihan, whose aim is to make the photographers' work public. Today, Cédric Wachthausen's goal is to devote himself to photographic practices and to pass on his liberated photographic language.

The daydreaming adventurers
From a sweet dream, I evaporate into the sky,
Then I dive into transparent water ;
And when the majestic mirror flips over,
The amazing magic deforms and invades me ;
When this deep bubble bursts,
I become a fantastic hero !

The making of the dreams
Have you ever imagined how your dreams are made ?
In a hidden place, far from every form of life, I start writing my story. I am drowsy… First of all, the preparation of the laboratory: “ What could this dream look like?”. I am going there and I am picking the ingredients I need. I imagine experiences, a mixture of thoughts which requires a lot of my attention, creates happiness, a moment of forgetfulness, a bubble that keeps me away from everything, to have a few memories when I finally wake up. But be careful not to make mistakes! This can give your dream a completely different way.
I open my eyes. All this was only a dream.

Farewell school, mask, stress ...
Morpheus come get me,
Bring me to the country of dreams,
My childhood country,
Cocoon of sweetness...
Teddy bears of all colors
Fly around me.
Morpheus,
Bring visit Mother Nature,
Protective mother , wonderful mother,
Source to all our goods.
Dream, place of all possible,
Make me travel to the country of fantasy,
Make me travel higher then the stars,
In infinity and beyond ...
Future is in our arms.
